					Pistol has British Proofmarks on the slide, 
					frame and barrel (through the ejection port).  Gun is 
					parkerized and U.S. Property marked since it was originally 
					part of the Army contract for these pistols.  Many of these 
					guns letter to the Port of Embarkation or the British 
					Purchasing Commission, New York.
